| Confirmation Outline for 2012 |
What is Confirmation?
Confirmation is nothing less than giving people the equipment they need to be faithful disciples. It is based on the belief that:
Our task is to take time with you, give you some skills, insights, and experiences in order that you can be faithful to God's promise made at your baptism. We will have some fun along the way as we learnn about ourselves and each other, and we'll have some special outings (see below).
Confirmation is not about joining the church. Joining the church is a choice you make after completing these Confirmation classes where you will be viewing your faith and seeing God's guidance in your life. The Confirmation ceremony will take place during worship services on Confirmation Weekend, May 26-27, 2012.
