Our Vision

God's Vision for Hope United Methodist Church
To be God's people transformed by Jesus Christ.

            • To witness to God's love.
            • To love one another.
            • To make effective disciples.
            • To serve the world for Him

0ur church seeks to make disciples of Jesus Christ by proclaiming the good news of God's grace and thus seeking the fulfillment of God's reign and realm in the world.

Hope United Methodist Church is a congregation focused on Jesus Christ and the Bible, living out a Christian lifestyle in the tradition of the dynamic history of John Wesley and the Methodist movement.

The church was founded in 1977 and is located on a hillside over looking the town of Rancho Bernardo. We pray for our community and culture on a daily basis and we work to see God's holy will be realized in all parts of our society.

The program/ministries of our church family are multi-cultural, multi-faceted and diverse. We have a strong music & worship, youth, children's & preschool, prayer and outreach ministries plus a deep and abiding sense of God's Holy Spirit.

As part of the world wide denomination of the United Methodist Church we join with millions of other Christians in God's Holy Spirit in prayer, service and mission.

Our United Methodist Church is composed of a wide variety of people and churches across our nation and across the world.
